Esmeralda Marin

Clinical Intern at Weatherstone Counseling Institute

I attend National Louis University, where I am pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am bilingual, fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. I have a strong desire to support clients as they navigate a variety of life challenges. To better address each person’s unique needs, I incorporate cognitive-behavioral and postmodern interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered, and humanistic approaches.

My main focus is to encourage self-compassion. My goal is to help empower you to live a more fulfilling life while treating you with dignity and respect. This will be done in a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and it takes courage to seek help. I aim to create a secure space where you can explore your emotions, gain a better understanding of yourself, and work toward a more satisfying life. You are not alone—we can work together to help you feel like yourself again.

Throughout our work together, I will treat you with empathy, understanding, and a genuine concern for your well-being. I’m here to offer a safe space where you can explore your emotions, gain insight, and move forward in your journey to wellness. You will have the opportunity to explore your personal needs and goals with support every step of the way.
